Suitable Antenna replacement found.

Thu 11 Mar 2010 11:49:07 AM
Fits straight in, no cutting or drilling of the body, goes in the original mounting hole.
The model is an AERPRO AP148 to suit Pulsar 1996 onward.
Retail around $39. I paid extra to have mine fitted.

Looks just the same as the original Micra antenna just a bit longer when extended out.

Initial results seem to be good. Getting stations even under the tin roof of my carport (albeit with a bit of static) where as before got no signal at all.

I'll drive around a bit this arvo to see how it performs in the other areas where I was having trouble with reception.

Thanks for posting that Mychael, I have had my Micra since early 97 and have probably gone through 3 "genuine Nissan" antennas at approx 100 bucks each, great to know there is an alternative out there.

Good idea, but how do you add to that list. I can view it but cannot see a way to add to it.

Pleased to report the new antenna works great. Drove up to Maffra today and was still getting most of the Melbourne AM stations and a few of the FM ones.
