Since for whatever reason my previous thread here no longer works, I thought that it's probably still quite beneficial to post up the threads for those who want to buy their first (or second or third... littlebear!) micra.

People are just trying to cash in on the supposed demand for econoboxes. It's friggen annoying but that's essentially the reason people think they can charge 6K for a high KM SLX. The problem is that some people will pay it because they don't know any better.
To pay 5K for a Series 2 Super-S, then that's somewhat understandable because there's sweet fuck all S2's.. but for an SLX with 180,000? ---dens |

then why do people ask so much!!! almost kept me away from getting one... looked for a while and the leased expensive one i found (locally) was 3500... i could of got a TRXX mira for that.

No pictures, but sounds like a Series 1 SLX with some panel damage that could be well used as spares or something if the rest of the car is ok or the damage isn't too bad. To get low KM engine/gearbox and interior stuff, that's actually pretty well priced it seems. Super-S on Carsales for $2900 -Bumpers aren't correct (Looks like painted LX bumpers, definitely not Super-S items) -"Paintwork on the rear not 100%" Sounds like the car has had an accident at some stage and both front and rear bumpers were replaced - bit of a shame really. Still if it's not in terrible nick then it could be a good pickup. ---dens |

Cheap respray job on that last one - colour coded door handles anyone? and a nice black stripe across the hatch... Would be reviewing this one very carefully.

Well i went and had a look today, and put a deposit down (at a reduced sale price, phew) - so its mine, unless i change my mind... My other micra was crashed a few months back (not by me...) and i bought a 180sx in the mean time, but after seeing this mint condition, bone stock standard, service history with air-con i really really want it! anyone else see it or have an opinion on it? |

That is one tidy car dude! A little bit better than mine but not by much. They tend to hold there value as time go's on because it becomes harder and harder to find a good one as you no.
Can honestly say i have not seen to many tidy Super S over the years! |

Often happens with S1 Super-S's - like Jon mentioned it's often heat/sun related. I'm just thankful it hasn't happened on mine as 2/3 Super-S's seem to have the issue at least partially. It seems to be that whatever padding it has underneath there deteriorates in the heat, so there is hope to get it repaired/reupholstered.
Steam clean or whatever on the seats should sort them out - but you'd want it mechanically to be A1 before considering getting it though. ---dens |

Can anyone confirm this one? 1995 Green Super S with just on 60,000km.

I've asked can it be viewed and why the plates are from the ACT. Message back says" Hi, the car can be viewed in Bunbury, I have not yet had time to take actual photos of my car car yet so the pictures displayed are the closest images i could get i have dispayed. I can take photos of my car and send them to you in a an email as soon as possible if you would like?"

Edit: Also I see the "Motorkhana ready" micra has dropped $1200 off it's price so far. If I was speninding that sorta money I would go the k12 no matter how hideous it looks haha. |
