lsd driveshaft info.

Wed 06 Aug 2014 11:36:02 AM
hey guys, does anyone has the specs and measurements handy to make these up?

ive got the n13 lsd shafts and i have a spare set of micra shafts. is it literally a case of swapping the inner cvs over, to deal with the spline difference?

lots of contradicting info on the site about this....

but what i got is n13 gearbox, n15 bell housing and custom shafts.

drivers side will need to remain same length I "think" so k11 shaft with n13 inner cv joint, you will probably need to suss out aftermarket shafts from a company that has standardised the splines as Nissan shafts have different spline sizes between n13/14/15 and k11, passenger side shaft will need to be shorter, maybe n13 with k11 outer cv joint and lsd inner cv knuckle or exa shaft which fit k11 hubs and same swap as other side for inner? welded shaft is around $250 and machined custom shaft is $600, very interested in doing same gearbox swap, good luck

i should have the box and shafts on sunday rudy, i only have a spare long micra shaft, so i can only compare that.

its not gonna be an overnight job, but ill get it in there. as for my traction problems with the turbo, ive put softer coilovers on the front, and a castor kit from whiteline, seems to have worked for first gear at least.....
