	Take off ya rear wiper. done this a few times in the past. go to bunnings, bathroom section and buy a sink blank and a set of chunky washers. heaps cleaner.

	awwee yeah, That looks amazing Rudy. A lot of work especially for people with a limited amount of knowledge how to a achieve such perfection. how did he do that? was it melted solder?

	Haha nope buntings only had 2 plugs, chrome or brass. Just measured 50mm. The washers I got was assorted with heaps of sizes as I didn't know exact size I needed. You don't need the washers but it makes it water tights = no rust

	I thought you had to have the wiper in there for it to pass rego in NSW ..bugger I could of saved myself $30 , I am waiting on a wiper in the post from a wrecker.. Does anyone know if you have to had the 3rd brake light on the back window for rego , my is broken and I want to get a spoiler with the brake light in it ,but I have to save some money up for it..

Coming from personal experience with RWC the more you have on the more they can pick on you. Hence i just remove my still work but broken/crack rear 3rd brake light and just put duct tape over the hole. They dont see it no problem passing. As for rear wiper i dont know, as pretty much all hatchback i seen have rear wiper so they will pick that one up pretty easily and fail you i guess.

	patch was made larger than hole and soldered underneath, held in place by oil filter remover or similar, and then filled with lead solder from the top, you could use oxy or heat gun, its just lead loading like they did in old days before bog, the bloke who did it is a craftsman panelbeater/painter As for the legality of it, fuck em

Anything you do to the car that compromise it safety or is not oem or equivalent is illegal. What i was trying to say in my original post is had i left the 3rd brake light in and went for RWC, even tho it still working there is a higher chance that they would knock it back due to it being crack. If i remove the 3rd light, and yes it is illegal, i would have a higher chance of passing RWC as the inspector would see it as both back lights working and thats it.

I also have a aqua hatch and rear spoiler with brake light built in if you are interested.

Oh Hotfunk67 YES please , when I first saw the photo I said to myself "that looks like my car" haha ..yes I would be very interested.. we have to talk ....I have big plans for this girl .. I have always wanted a car that was blood plum/black colour so she might get a paint job ...and she is small enough for me as I am only 5ft..
