Engine won't start

ECU testing showed AFM at fault, replaced with new but engine still won't start. 1995 Micra.

Already replaced -
battery
spark plugs
fuel filter
air filter

Engine will start if put fuel directly into AFM. Any ideas?

does it have any fuel pressure, maybe your fuel pump is dead, must be a problem with fuel delivery,

turned engine over with injector out and fuel came through..

"Engine will start if put fuel directly into AFM" if that is correct i'd say it's still fuel delivery problem. Unless its flooding itself?

i work on cars all day long and only resort to pluging it in if all else fails.think of it like this cars are quite simple you just need the four basic elments: no1 fuel you say you have so thats cool, no2 you have air i take it: when turning the engine over put your hand over the induction pipes it sucks right? you got a spark? or your catalyst could be blocked. all else fails borrow someone elses ecu.
