Fixed my idle issue!!!

OK, so I've had the car for about a month now and the odd idle issue had been doing my head in for the last few weeks. The good old GA13DE K11 Micra idle mystery solved!

The idle would sit at 2,000rpm at start-up and would hunt at traffic lights. Revving between 1,600 and 2,000rpm.

I cleaned out all contacts/sensors, the throttle body, re-soldered the throttle body as suggested, changed the fuel filter and "Seafoamed" the upper engine and fuel system.

After all this, the idle was still high but the hunting did drop off slightly.

One day, I was just staring, tinkering, moving things when the light bulb moment struck! Looking at what would allow the idle to go lower, was this stupid green spring attached to an arm. Removed the green spring and arm with 2 phillips head screws and bingo! My idle issues are now solved. The car idles constantly at around 650-700rpm, with a start up idle of around 1,000rpm. I'm so happy now!
