Problem micra K11E (1.4 l) |

Hello, K11 is a 1.4 petrol 08/09/2000 (motor CGA3DE ) . When cold, it starts without a problem . Then after several stop randomly and once heated , it turns empty without restarting (alternator and battery checked OK) . It was not until it cools to that that she can start times one hour or overnight. I changed fuel filter , spark plugs , air filter , cleaned the flowmeter , bought a ODBII ( no error back of the computer ) Error player. I finally take it to a specialist who kept injection 11 days without being able to put it down. They changed even when the pressure sensor in the computer that you were able to default. They never had a computer error. So I ended up back and he told me in case it fails verify that it was not the transponder key that was not in default and not recognized by the computer 4 weeks after she ends up falling down with the same symptoms. The I retéléphone him and he told me that he had in the meantime even a micra that failed with the same symptoms and micra finally told them that it could come from the chain distrbution was relaxed. the cost of repairing this fault is 1200 euros. I thought he fucks my mouth to come help me or not it was really serious. D Based on the information I have is that rather K12 problems that K11 chains . That 's why now I ask your opinion on this. if the sensor is faulty, the ecu will run constant coldstart enrichment (like leaving the choke on)
does it idle bad when hot monben ? |

When the engine is warm, idle is low (550 rev / min) and not very stable.

ebay code readers are,nt 100% accurate really, maybe try a nissan dealer check ?
or you can test the signal from the lambda sensor (it should be bouncing around .45v @ idle and cruise) if its constantly .9v when hot, then the coolant sensor is probably faulty |

If I understand correctly, I must first also test the lambda sensor (voltage around 0.45 V at low speed and high speed), and then test again hot (if the voltage is 0.9 V, it is the temperature sensor is faulty).
I take the voltage across the lambda sensor and not across the temperature sensor. This is how I should do if I understand correctly. |

the black wire on your 4 wire type mate, it should read about .45v at idle or steady cruise (signal wire and earth somewhere), and .9v at acceleration in low gears, and 0v on throttle lift, but if its constant .9v then the ecu is coldstart enriching

hi, I disconnected the connector and took the voltage on each terminal connector (ie lambda sensor disconnected): the first was the mass, the second battery power, the third a fixed voltage to 0.7 v which does not move, and fourth fixed voltage of 0275 V. The voltages are not varied at all depending on the speed. voila, then in the dark it looks hot as the resistance of the water temperature sensor is infinite. here are the first statements tonight. |

if you disconnect the lambda, the ecu wont get the signals tho monben.
have you tried tapping into the wire ? (measure the voltage while still connected) |

Another problem appears. rarely. it happened to me three times. Unlit engine and the ignition on, flashing lights continuously few seconds. I think it has nothing have.

sounds like the faultcode light is flagging a fault now mate, have you tried the code reader again ?

I measured. A terminal is fixed at 0.30 V. the other n not stop oscillating idle between 0.45 and 1.0 v. |

idle should oscillate between about .2v and .6v at idle (warm engine)
and .9v only at full throttle in 1st and 2nd gears monben |

if thats the 2 wire sensor ? then it sounds ok then eh.
lambda sensor problem maybe ? you could swap the 2 lambda,s (another lambda near the driveshafts) |

the MAF and 2nd lambda are pretty notorious for faults on the coilpack k11,s monben, i would check those first

the ebay bosch type MAF is about 30 euro,s mate, but they have a bad reputation tho, and just swap your 2 lambda,s and measure it again

there are two temperature sensors one above the other? that I tested has two terminals and is below. hello,
I have removed the main relay and tried to start to simulate a failure. it does exactly what it makes when it is down: the starter turns the lights on and no default instrument cluster appears. |

I have two possibility I use the car and what I expect crashes, and immediately I 'swapped relays to confirm this. Or I replace now and I expect there to be down.

Theoretically, the data points of the two lambda sensors. Is the statement of the second sensor is right?
Sensor readings of air temperature is it normal too? For now, I have tested the relay of the ECSS, it has not shown weakness and the car is not fallen down. |

it is in the LTFT B1 standards, right?
it should be at 2000 rev / min from -25% to 25%. this value is constant whatever the rev / min. |

MAF readings are weird.
Measures on the link in the previous post about the maf up to 22 V is obtained (normal maximun is 4v). |

yeh, its not making a lot of sense eh monben, the maf reading might be in gram,s ? and the fueltrim +22 % ?, but the o2 sensor readings/values look corrupted to me

That's incredible. That makes two weeks I use the car to try to make her fall down. Today, I let my wife. it takes to go for a full tank and it does not restarts. I rage because I go back tonight from work and I could not test it SINCE will reboot. It seems that it fails when it is very short drive as is my wife. fortunately it does not have the children. |

Here are the exact path of the car this morning. 1 course 800 meters 8:40: home to school with one minute stop at school. Then second course 800 meters 9.00: school to home with 20 minutes of downtime at home. Finally trisieme golf 2 km 9.20: home to petrol station and breakdown.
I think my course for two weeks are not the same. I have a road 50 kilometers to go to work and between noon and two o'clock, I go back four kilometers. that's why it does not crash. They say the lambda sensor: "Lambda regulation does not occur until the engine has reached its operating temperature." |

The problem came well the relay. I swapped the fan relay with that of ECM and started ca. Thank you so much for everything.
I will look after the problem of low idle hot and probably the lambda sensors are for something. |
