How to remove CVT gearstick?

Hi from a newbie in the U.K, I have a W reg Auto Micra and am trying to replace the gear selector indicator To do this I need to remove the CVT gearstick...please does anyone know how you get the thing off!? I can't see anyway of unscrewing it and don't want to just pull it incase I break it!
Any help gratefully recieved, it's driving me nuts!

I think w reg micra is still a k11, while I've never had a cvt, the book says "On auto models remove the top of the selector lever(doesn't say how??), then lift the rear of the lever surround and withdraw rearwards."

Thankyou both! I'm presuming it must be the two screws on the top back of the gearstick...will give it a go!

That's got it! Thankyou so much :-) lost one of the damn grub screws but further forward than this morning lol
