Noisy CR14DE

Sat 25 May 2013 03:33:25 PM
Hey guys, I have an '09 k12 which has a really noisy engine. it's only got 37k on the clock but it sounds like the tappets are noisy. trouble is, I believe these have hydraulic lifters. would someone please confirm this for me and if this is a common fault on this car.

it would be worth removing the cover to check the tensioner i guess, my CG cams jittered back and forward at idle when the lower tensioner oil hole was blocked
