clutch/ gearbox?

hi im having a bit of a problem with my 98 pre facelift micra. When the car is cold on acceleration it revs up high, with no power, but when warmed up accelerates fine. First i thought this might be the clutch slipping but looking at reciepts from the previous owner a new clutch was fitted only 15k miles ago, its got me a little bit baffled. has anyone got any idea what it could be????
