K11 engine & running gear in an S Cargo.

At the risk of asking a question as silly as 'how can I make my FR car drift?'
Has anyone put the engine & running gear from a k11 Micra into the Nissan S Cargo funkmachine?

Shopping for a used van has been no fun at all, until I stumbled upon the Snail. After a bit of hunting around I drove an S Cargo today and was bittery disappointed at its amazing lack of oomph.

What were Nissan thinking mating a wheezy little 1 litre banger up to a three speed auto? Such a disappointment.

Rhetoric aside. Has anyone put a CG family engine in an Scargo? I'm thinking the CG13DE & CVT from a K11 would be the obvious choice.

The s cargo was based on the k10 micra from memory. I thought they had a 1.5 motor in them?

being sohc, automatic & air conditioning is what makes is sluggish as all hell.

just a quick google search of S-Cargo engine swaps, people seem to just put the E15ET in as its a direct bolt in.

probably MSC would be more help as they have a K10 dedicated section
