Handbrake cables...

Hi guys,

I'm in the process of putting a disc brake rear end in my SLX and was just wondering if the handbrake cables are the same for disc and drum?

Will also be posting pics soon of my Super S project... Thought it was going to be easier than it has turned out to be. But that's ALWAYS the way with an unknown quantity isn't it?

No they aren't, JCMicra had the same problem :)

Yep doing mine at the moment, definitely different. You'll need to source the handbrake cable from a super S, theres a couple being wrecked on this forum. good luck I think generally most people that sell there rear axel will include the cable (as part of the drum to disc conversion) and probably won't want to sell it separately. You may be able to get an aftermarket one at an auto parts store or you can pay a squillion dollars at Nissan.
