starting problem

car will not start. the car was stolen and the ignition wires left connected all night so i charged the battery as it was dead but the car wouldnt start so i then replaced the starter motor and still no start is there any fuse or relay that i can check any help would be great by the way the car wont even try to start all i get is dashboard lights

no there no chip in the key no immobilizer or anything and yea it would be uk spec

is there any fuse or relay for the starter motor as i cant seem to find it

sounds like the starter solenoid is,nt getting a feed mate, you could try hotwiring the solenoid (from the batt + to the 10mm nut/lead on the starter)

i tried that and it turns over no prob its wen i try start from the ignition i get nothing i replaced the starter and still nothing

so its getting no feed then eh, it not getting linked to the ignition switch then.
but if it wont bump start either, then it could be an ecu feed etc.
there is an ecu relay near the battery (next to the fan relay) does that click on and off ?

the car will start on a push with the ignition on there is a clicking under the bonnet

its just that solenoid feed wire then mate, i would track it all the way back from the starter to the ign switch
