Please HELP!!! Micra K11 Engine Screw |
Mon 24 Dec 2012 08:35:52 PM |
Hi, I want to rebuild the engine of my 1995 Micra K11. Please see the photo below (red circles). I would like to know what is the figure of the measurement gauge (kgs or kps) of these engine screws (total 10 screws)? Thank you.

haynes says to tighten the headbolts in 4 stages, 39nm, then 78nm, then slacken and 35nm, then 60 deg.
i personally do about 80 nm (at a guess), then hours later i fully slacken each bolt one at a time, and then about 80nm again |

Glenj WROTE: "Can i ask (maybe a dumb ? ) why do you have to have to slacken head bolts torque? Thanks" because they will turn another 30 deg @ the same torque value glen |
