please transmission help!!!!! |

i'm an owner of a k-11 1.3 witch i race with.
its the greek edition called challenge witch has race headers reprfiled cams and lower suspensions. i have replace all the suspension with bilstein rallye.also i've replaced the rear axle and fitted a sunny 2.0 one.i've replaced and the injection with a sunny 1.6 and the injectors to. the point is that i'm trying to do something with the transmission.its way to long. i think that the transmission of the 1.0 its only 5% shorter. i want some solutions about the transmission please and sorry about my bad english. thanks |

the facelift 1.0 diff ratio is a lot shorter nikos :)

if you could be bothered there was an n2 low ratio gear set on yahoo jp.

how many precent closer is the 1.0 facelift gear ratios?

The pre facelift 1.0 was 4.050, and the 1.3 was 3.895 according to haynes
The 14" wheel facelift 1.0 had a lower diff |

acording what u said its about 13% shorter.
any other way to gain something more than that? |

" no probs nikos :) nice looking car you have, the axle swap sounds interesting, and what cams did you go for ? and matt posted up the number of teeth you have to count on the crownwheel a few years back on MSC, to identify the 4.465 (down the speedo hole iirc) |

what about a crownwheel and pinion from other nissan.
i dont really know about the cams.its should be a first stage replofile because the car shold with those modifications from nissan dealer and it was only available in greece. here is the article from 2002. the 1.3 k-11 prodused 97hp and the facelift 1.4 101hp http://www.autotriti.gr/data/magazine/pages/10_2002/01.T10.micra.asp |

i think the diff splines are bigger on the RS5F31 (GA16) g/boxes nikos, tho the crownwheel and layshaft may fit ? http://www.genis-x.com/comments.php?id=c4392f
and that 101hp from the CGA3 is what the cube alpha engine had too eh. maybe they are avanti cams ? |
