Buying a 240 000KM Micra? Good idea?

I want to buy a cheap daily Micra.

I found a very nice SLX, with lot of service history: clutch changed recently, new tyres, brakes etc
Good in and out condition. Only thing I mind is the high mileage, the car has already done 240 000KM.
Do you think it could be a bargain or a timewaster? It's my third K11 but I always bought low mileage cars (80 000 and 50 000KM)

Any advices are welcome

Mibe has dobe 235000, apart from the dizzy cap i havnt had any issues and hasnt missed a beat. if it has service history and serviced with decent oil.etc.. shouldnt be a bad car

I would buy a high km car with full history over a low km car with no history.

Mine has 320000 ks on it and runs just as well as the one i had with 110000 ks on it. If its been looked after then it should be fine.

Mines coming up to 400000, runs like a charm still, good oil and service intervals and it'll go forever!

Thank you guys, thats what I wanted to know, if a well serviced Micra can make 200 000km + without troubles, as I always had low mileage ones :) Going to check it this weekend !

Mine has 405,000 and going strong. BUT I've had it since new so know it's history.
I have driven Micras with much lower k's that were absolutley rooted. It really depends on the life they've had and how well they've been cared for.

I am revisiting this website after an absence of many years. God I miss my old Micra. I sold it at 60,000kms. Biggest motoring regret of my life. The most fun I ever had on four wheels.

Great idea... mine had way more problemless. No doubt get it cheap.
