Stalling at the Lights

Wed 17 Oct 2012 11:36:35 AM
Hey my Micra stalls sometimes whilst at the lights, I also feel a lose of power (not complete lose, but you can definitely feel it lose some power) whilst driving sometimes.

can anyone advise what the problem is?

What do I need to do to fix it?

you may have a throttle body problem (commonly found in the k11 micra)

lucky for you it is a reasonably easy fix and only needs some soldering

the link below is a guide provided from another member

my micra was doing this until i re-soldered it and now it drives perfectly.

GL and hope this helps

Is it only when the AC is on?
This could be the idle up valve, which is also on the throttle body. Pull it apart and clean it

Hey Guys,

I will give it a try tomorrow, and I hope it performs better; cause I hate paying for new parts (because they are so expensive) and don't even get me started on the cost of sending it to the mechanics.

Will let you know the results.

Just did this today, and I was suprised at how something so simple could solve my problems...runs great now, will have to see if anything happens in the next few weeks. Thanks for the help.
