WTB k11 gearbox melb

Thought I'd start a fresh topic.
Getting desperate for a manual gearbox now, sick of riding to work.
Melb area must have one somewhere ......help!

Doesn't look like there is any lying around, you could try wreckers? but then you may end up with one just as bad. Cheaper if you remove it from the car yourself etc (pickapart anyway)

I have told you want your problem is cost no more the $40 to do it your self

getting under a car at pick a part to remove a gearbox is the problem. how can it be done. need to roll the car over and do it lol

Rowstar - I have a bearing set for a k11 GB here, I'm sure I can identify which bearing is which, then you can order it from a bearing shop.. how about you get a few prices from garages on pulling the GB, opening it up, replacing the bearing, and refitting..

I'll get on the computer and upload a few pics when I replaced mine :) but it's not 100% step by step

no manual K11 at kilsyth pick a part, was there today.

sounds like i need to do the imput shaft bearing in mine too.

noisy all the time, goes quiet when i push the the clutch in.

ill see if i can find a box in gippsland to re build.

part numbers for bearings would be great!
