Wanted: Blown 1.3 engine

I'm after a cheap wrecked 1.3 engine.
Condition not important, I only need it so I can dummy build a subframe around it.

Cheap or free is best, can pick it up in Sydney aswell.

Yeah guys, doing a mini (Much to the dismay of the starlet boys, but I plan to show them what the CG13DE can do)

Was hoping someone had a turfed motor I could use to mock everything up until I sort out a nice runner.

What condition is it in? Should be able to organise a drive down to canberra

It is in "blown" condition as requested :p I guess it's a long motor with stuffed pistons/rings/bores/bearings etc. Is currently lying in my backyard with weeds growing around it lol

Doesnt have the micra gearbox but I can give you a couple of 31A pulsar gearboxes to play with for $50...

Thanks for the offer Tyrie, I was after something with a box aswell.

I guess the micra crowd don't have as many blown motors lying around as the mini crowd do.


I'm still looking for a complete power unit to buy, or one to borrow.

no worries, fyi the 31a pulsar gearbox is an upgrade over the original, and bolts up. So may be suitable for your purposes? My engine is destined for a skip bin that may come at any time, so let me know if end up wanting the motor and I'll let you know if it's still here.
