Track Day! Haunted Hills Morwel VIC, Invite from Classic Skyline Australia

Mon 09 Apr 2012 05:19:04 PM
Hello,
Classic Skylines Australia is inviting you to our Track day this month. all makes and models welcomed.

Date: 21/4/12

Time: Gates open 8AM

Cost: $90 Per Driver, Plus cost of Track Licence / club membership (if req).

Location: Bryant Park hillclimb, Bill Schulz Rd, Newborough

This is a SERIOUSLY good track at a really good price for a Whole day of Motorsport.

We have run several events at Haunted hills and all of them have been a well attended Fun day out,It really is the perfect venue for you to open your car up and learn, even if you have never been out on the track before.
you have the chance to go as Fast as your car will let you, or as slow as you feel safe to.

This will be a AASA event you can download the Licence form here
http://australianautosportalliance.com/aasa/index.php?option=com_docman&task=doc_view&gid=20&Itemid=45

AASA = cheap Licence and NO membership to club req!

Day membership to Classic skylines Australia will be available, However anybody part of an incorporated club is more than welcome to participate.
CAMS licences will also be accepted.

Any Questions ? post here and ill try to help. otherwise

To be honest, i think a K11 would be reasonably competitive with R31s around this track.

Ill be taking my K11, and MickB may be in his if its ready!

CSA is a very friendly car club, started to cater for the earlier more "un loved" Skylines. this has been expanded to pretty much ANY Nissan.

We are holding the Skyline Nationals in Goulburn NSW this September. if we get more than 4 cars from a non skyline Car model. there will be a class for them for the trackday and show and shine...

Went Really well.

we got about 9 runs in each, the weather was great.
there was a decent variety of cars running too.

I could only manage low 72 second passes, fastest car on the day is the race prepped yellow HR31 coupe, i think he was in the 60 sec range.

Was a great day, and one of the best ways to get on the track for the 1st time for people. it isn't too hard on the car, and the speeds are comparable to doing the best bit of a hills run before parking it and waiting your next turn.

I currently run 205/50R15 Dunlop DZ03G semi slicks on mine, but have a set of Hankook z214 cheaters on the way from Tirerack :)
