Interesting Night

Well....

This white SS gave me a bit of a rolling run in 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear tonight, and to MY surprise, the driver was cheering me on as I slowly pulled away! Then he sent me message telling me that he'll be telling all his mates its for sale!! Bahahah Micra pride!

And then this Huge-mongous Prado-esque looking Toyota 4x4 cut me off, went 30km/h in an 80 zone and when I overtook him eventually (wasn't pushing it but those things lift their skirts well) he decided to get back in front and slow down to 20km/h. So I overtook again and he tried to sideswipe me so I pulled back. Then when it formed one lane he completely stopped and turned off his car and lights (in a busy 80km/h road on a Friday night! He was definately on something) and got out of his car. I threw it into reverse, screamed out the window something about his wife and waited for him to take a few steps away from the car before sprinting off again..

But, wait its not over..

He found me again somehow! So I thought I'd have some fun with him...

This time it was in Dunlop. I feathered my brakes to get him off my tail so I could brake properly for the turns, then when he missed them I'd punt along slowly until he was behind me again.

I did that 3 or so times before I got bored and lost him in 3 secs...

So my night was... quite...

You should have tried to lead him onto an offcamber corner and get the asswipe to get sideways and roll. Thats the only way suck wankers in 4x4's are going to learn.

I don't know anyone who uses their 4x4 for genuine purposes who would either a) bother or b) be capable of trying to keep up with someone in a small turbo car...

The one I DO know of who might consider it has a second car, an SS Commodore so if he so desired he'd probably drive home and jump in that thing.

One explanation: drugs.

Drugs are everywhere now. Its doing a lot of damage. That's the main explanation for why there are so many nutters getting around being psychos like this. Yes when they get like that, they are playing with people's lives.

Yes have fun mighty, be careful too. I agree. I had a psycho in a 285kw clubsport once try to intimidate me and cut me off etc. He was upset because in this 2 lane bit when I boosted it in 2nd gear, I could pull in front of him.

So I let him get in front, I stayed plenty away from him, then followed him until the next red lights. Launched away and beat him all the way to about 110kmh and was still pulling away and I backed off. Then he kept flooring it and must have done about 200kmh down the street. Psycho! heh.

And totally it does tend to often be Holden/HSV drivers, and its not just a coincidence. There are still lots of good/nice/normal Holden/HSV drivers, but there are a lot of lunatics that drive them aswell.

A couple of months ago i had a run with a tidy little Escort, Off the line up to about 120-150.

When i had stayed ahead and then went to turn of he was on the horn giving me the finger and yelling out "You fucken idiot"

I was laughing my ass of thinking what a wanker..

When I encounter idiots on the road I find it best just to back-off and give them a wide-berth.

Recently I have encountered a spate of Jeep Cherokee & Wrangler drivers that seem to be really aggressive types.... Hopefully I have just been unlucky and its no reflection on the majority of jeep owners.

It's sometimes hard not to retaliate but these fools are just not worth getting your car or yourself smashed up... ;)

Agree with you Makes. Best to back off and not sink to their standard. Besides loose your cool and you will most likely end up doing something you will regret later.
Still its good fun if someone is taking it in the correct manner as long as IT IS SAFE to do so.
I will stick to my sleeper mode 9 times out of 10 and by the time they wake up you are long gone.

Shame about how people react, guess you are right that it might be drugs they can have the effect!

Worst I have had in the UK is when I took a roundabout a little too quick and ended up right behind someone going around it, he gave me the two finger salute but thats about the lot :-D (wasnt even that close tho to be honest!)

hey all. yes id be extremely careful with guys in big cas like that. i had a guy follow me once on highway sat right up me arse for ages i hit accelerator and got up to 170 or so and i pulled away a lot quicker than he did but he caught up again after i slowed down and stayed there and he wouldnt over take me so when got into sydney round campbeltown on m5 trafic was bit heavy so i weaved in and round traffic and got heaps in front then lost him. but be very careful with pyschos in big cars and also bogans in commodores and falcons.

And also cop cars while racing Commodore's on the freeway! Hey Brendo?
