Electrical problem just started. |
Sun 30 Oct 2005 07:19:28 PM |
All of a sudden in my car I have found that I did not have any front wipers but it is fixed due to bad connection. But I have another problem and I have wasted a few hours but when I put the parker lights on I blow a fuse and I have not parkers front or rear and not dash lights but I have brake lights and headlights and high beam. So I am thinking I have a short somewhere I have put a metre on the fuse and I get 12 volts but as soon as I put fuse in and turn parkers on then..how many fuses have i used dont ask...might be a trip to the autoelec......

remove all the fuses for accessories, then install again the fuse for your parkers, then turn it on, if it blows immediately then no need to go ahead with the next troubleshooting, otherwise install the fuse for your accessories one at a time....this will give you an idea which component is giving the problem....
