FS: N14 Pulsar SSS Brake Calipers

Sat 28 May 2011 11:15:57 PM
Got a set of front calipers from Aussie spec N14 SSS, surplus to requirements. Cheap upgrade for the front of your K11. $20 plus postage.

About $25 by Aust Post. I'll check E-go tomorrow at work if you like and see how much cheaper that is.

Packed them up and did the sums, $21.70 by Oz Post, 15.73 by E-go.

Your choice, I have heard mixed reports of E-go, but I haven't had a drama. Depends on what local courier they are using in your area I think.

Yep. Might change slightly if they measure the package with a "smaller" ruler, but I'll pick that up.

Just confirming before I get shot down these are "Aust Spec" SSS calipers, not the AD22VF's

make sure you use High tensile washers. mild or stainless steel will compress and you'll be in a spot of bother then. using washers to space them out is slightly dangerous to begin with lol. Make sure you torque up to factory spec and then a day or two later torque them up again as washers even high tensile are not always perfectly flat (wouldn't hurt to use a little blue loctite either).

N14 SSS, Ti and Q with the 2.0L Calipers are all more or less the same afaik.

I put N15 series 2 sedan 1.6L calipers on my K11, they were lighter weight than the n14 from memory lol
