hey guys
looks like this must be the place for build threads so i thought id post mine in here as well, names Kyle, im 23 from Melbourne and i love cars! My current car is an R32 GTS-T some of you might have seen my wanted to buy thread where i was willing to trade for a K11 but hopefully tomorrow i will be purchasing a K11 Super S outright when i fly to Adelaide. Will be a daily driver while my weekend beast sits at home but who knows it might end up the other way ;) I wont list everything on it until ive got it (its mostly factory anyway) but i have purchased a few things for it already: - Dash Cup/Pod Holder - Centre Console Cup Holder - Genuine Nismo Roof Spoiler - JDM Weathershields - Genuine Nismo Front And Rear Lips - Jap Spec K11 Super S Front Bar (Smaller Plastic Bit at Front for Jap Number Plates) - Genuine JDM March Floormats - Genuine Nismo Front Grill - Cusco Front Strut Brace I do plan on all of these going on the car but some may not make it on depending on the overall look. Got heaps of plans for it, get a good suspension setup going coilovers, arms, swaybars etc, turbo it, rollcage. im still fairly new to the micra scene so any tips/help is greatly appreciated. I havent been able to find much about how people have turboed them so if anyones got some links/info? Will update tomorrow pending everything going well. Cheers guys Kyle |

bit of an update i smashed my first super s so i bought mimz one while i repair it, HKS coilovers are on the way and i just won these literally a minute ago pretty stoked, SSR Formula Mesh 13x7 +11

Not sure what ill run yet got a couple of weeks to decide cbf with guard work yet so ill be running something skinny to get them under, might need to roll the guards but thats alright.

Heres some interior pics sorry the light is terrible ill take some good ones one day, you can just see the bolero centre arm rest peeking out from the seat there, the usual dildo shifter, jdm dash pod and you cant really tell but theres JDM march floormats there.
also im going to modify a late model K11 centre console dash piece so i can fit the din cup holders in my early model K11 should look good ive already dummied everything up and only small modifications needed. also just landed some late model option door cup holders, i think i might just find somwhere to mount these on the early model door trims and just screw them in, im having trouble finding kouki k11 door trims. |

not much happening here build wise, just hoarding of parts really, my Jap spec super s front bar arrived today so i thought id take some pics of it and everything else ive got to go on.
first up late model cup holders (will modify to fit early model K11, bonnet protector and nismo indicators. |

Yahoo.jp? Just google yahoo auction japan and get ur browser to translate it to engrish. I know google chrome does the translating without having to link the page through a different website. Firefox might do it too?

Awesome wheels!
Would look ace with 165/55s but i guess thats a size that is pretty hard to come by in Aus. From a quick quote I just did it looks like shipping from the uk would be around $100 for a pair of tyres, with about the same again for the purchase of a pair of fairly budget brand. |

With a weight of 14Kg (I only had a 5kg scale so I had to guesstimate how heavy the tyre i had there actually was), and size of 50x50x40 The price came out at £62.75, You might get stung for some import duty on top of that, not sure what that would be for you guys. I think there was a UK based tyre mail order company who would ship to Aus, it might have been mytyres, blackcircles, camskill. Could be worth firing off a few emails. If you got really stuck I'm sure I could help out by taking delivery, re-addressing and getting them picked up by an international courier for you if you. |

I've just realised that I was a bit of a twat with that first quite, I left it at it's default setting (USA) not Australia, the actual quote was £96.16 - so somewhere in the region of $150. That was DHL Express, so presumably could be found slower and cheaper.

nismo dash, side spats and depo lights left yesterday shouldnt be too far off.
absolutely loving this devise rear spoiler, pretty exxy though at ~$550 before shipping, land one for about $600 i spose, alot of coin though would look wicked though :( |

haha i bought a whole front end support today off a wreckers so the green machine should be up and running again in around two weeks i guess which will see most of the nismo parts added to the car, as soon as the cluster lands it will be going straight in along with the depo headlights, wheels and coilovers are still roughly 3 weeks away though which will be the biggest transformation to the car, yeah i guess this a bit of a premature build thread :P

full rewire of dash for starters/jdm temp sensor/jdm fuel sender... did u get the wiring harnesses with that nismo dash?

from factory the ADM super S dont have a switch for the foglights they come on when you turn the high beams on, i know the UK models were optioned with switches im trying to hunt one down but every wrecker that has one over there wont ship :(
yeah i got your PM man im guna wait for my other one to get here before i decide what to do, you got first dibs though, i want to put HIDS in the foggies too but obviously a ballast and everything does not fit in there, ive found these: http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1//1?icep_ff3=2&toolid=10001&campid=5337873294&icep_item=30057440291 but im not sure if theyll be bright enough, theyre reasonably cheap might just give it a go |

does the wider center consol fit between the uk/aus seats?
and with the nismo instrument cluster i think the nismo clock faces may? be able to be swapped onto your old clocks, u need to do your homework first and find out how they remove the dials from the clocks or seek assistance from an auto electrician/instrument fitter quite jealous of alota your bits, good luck with your build |

i havent tried to fit the wider one yet will do on Friday. now i think about it it will be a very tight fit a think, worth it though, if you look at the earlier pics of it the black bits inside come out so you can mix and match what you want like a customisable centre arm rest so its kool!
the dials arent interchangeable on the clusters either ive already pulled them apart they are different shapes, ill have to speak to my auto elec mate and see what my options are. cheers rudy just waiting for wheels to get here (in the next week or two) and then everything can finally go on :) |

didnt put coilovers in today, want to get a panhard rod first and yeah didnt even think of a wheel alignment low thanks for reminding me ;)
got started on repairing the green beast today.. |

long time no update, not much happening really, finally got it regoed in Victoria which is great :)
after the downpour last weekend i jumped in my car after work to find a nice puddle of water in the passenger side footwell D: obviously some drainage issues i will need to investigate i tried fitting the depo headlights today only to find the indicators were my parkers and my low beam headlights were my indicators LOL so will have to get em rewired to suit the loom bloody japs nothing i ever buy for cars just works! today also fitted nismo grill and strut brace, the strut brace even came in the original box from nismo which was kool, tyres will be my xmas present from my mrs but i should have them fitted sometime before and just need to purchase a panhard rod and slam the thing yippee |

small update wheels are at importmonster right now getting tyres fitted, may or not be on before xmas, just waiting on kovert to get back to me about his panhard rod to lower it.
today i fitted march badge and nardi pedals, after seeing jcmicras nardi pedals i fell in love with them and had to get a set, some people may not like them but they will pair with my nardi wheel nicely. scored a nardi 330mm on ebay for an awesome price :) |

got alot done yesterday,
- fitted nardi wheel with boss kit and believe me for a copy it is bloody strong i had to yank on it hard because i misaligned the boss kit and it didnt bend at all - wired up hella supertone horns (LOUD) - wired up optional fog light switch so its on its own circuit and i can have them on whenever i like - fit nismo roof wing and wired up brake light - installed tweeters yeaaahhhh duno if kovert posted my panhard rod yet buttt coilovers will have to wait till it gets here |

yeah i duno the front bar has its moments, some days im like what an unpainted piece of crap other days im like yeah that looks kool it gives the car a bit of character.
roof racks actually serve a purpose i cant fit a swag in the back of a loaded micra! i installed my super march tail lights yesterday they look good with the led brake light on the nismo spoiler. coilovers, panhard rod, rear swaybar in tonight hopefully! pics later on! |

how warm is that cai tubing after idling for a while on a hot day? I would imagine it would cop a fair bit of heat from the engine?
I've got my filter in the same spot, but there's no way I could fit one that big in there! |

its been alright so far, id like to get some stainless steel pipe made up and wrap it but im not sure what direction im going with the motor at the moment, since removing the condensor and fan ive got alot more airflow through to the bay as well :)

finally found a hks turbo kit and won it tonight n_n
also got a cusco front lower brace to go in STILL no coilovers in, work is killing motivation atm especially coming up to easter and the cold weather anywayyyyy time to think about whether i want to front mount it, ecu, injectors, hmmmmmmmmmms |

so in breaking news my ^$(*&%$& coilovers dont fit, well the rears anyway completely different setup must only be for z10 cube errrkkk thats what happens when you impulse buy, will try the fronts another day gotta swap the strut top onto the coilovers hardly worth it probably just buy another set, after that complete fail i went and bought those king springs for sale for some temporary low till i sort out what im guna do, rides heaps better now nice and stiff :)

still waiting for turbo kit to get here i anticipate about three weeks, also won a mint set of SSR MK-2 :P just need the MK-3's for the full set yeah i love wheels muahaha |

here, how much do you spend on them yahoo auctions, i priced a hks turbo kit yesterday, works out at about double what it sells for on the auction once its landed in aus, is that standard or are you getting the parts over for cheaper than import monster are?

racks came off today it looks a bit naked without them but i like it hadnt seen it with the nismo spoiler on and no racks. guna try fit up my nismo lips and spats today hopefully some good pics later on. oh and won these last night loooool |

yep turbo kit :) came with a few extra goodies too, already modded sump, greddy oil pressure gauge, 3 ecu's (wtf?), exhaust wrap and braided lines
excuse the crappy phone pic did some minor things this weekend, removed rear wiper, put nismo clear indicators in and took off roof racks, looks heaps better |

MK1's hit sydney today so ill probably get them Monday, my sexy piece of bracing, scuff plates and number plate surround leave tomorrow should see them next Friday :)
anyone from Melbourne know a good CG13 tuner? thinking maybe Chasers but would love to hear from someone whos dealt with some tuners already, would probably even be willing to travel to Sydney... |

small update other two MK1's arrived, KOOL
*nismo clear side repeaters installed *rear wiper removed *roof racks removed looks heaps cleaner (lol) and i think i like it better see my $50 gemini rims hiding in the corner, what a bargain |
