Lowered springs

Tue 22 Feb 2011 05:07:02 PM
Where can you get lowered springs for an Australian spec K12?
As they are different to the UK spec.I found out the hard way,I imported some 35mm PI lowered springs and payed the labour to take my old springs out and put them back in again.I am now several hundred dolars out of pocket with no lowered micra!

Tried gls, can't get lowered springs for an Aussie spec K12.Only option is custom springs which will blow the budget.I don't think anybody has modded a K12 in Oz,there is absolutely no aftermarket options.

Tried pedders and dozens of other places, only option is a custom suspension set up which is big dollars. As for finding a modded K12 micra in Sydney,I don't like my chances. Thanks for all your help anyway!

I don't know where you are from but I know 'Industrial Springs' in Adelaide can reset any spring to whatever height you want. I am pretty sure they custom make springs too. Mind you for the cost and the hassle I would look at coil overs. BC (what I had in my K11) are great and cost $1100 delivered approx. The K12 model has full camber adjustment on them too, they are a very nice looking unit.

And I agree with Kovert, keep your eye on ebay.

Good luck with whatever you choose :)

The overseas ones from ebay don't fit.I will look into custom springs.
