I am thinking he means Rear strut Brace as in the front one buut for the rear.

Does that last one actually do anything? I do think it may stop my tyres scrubbing on the chassis might knock one in tonight.

It will stop the top flexing same as a front strut brace. Thats about it.

Wouldnt it reduce the side movement when hard cornering using the other side as balance like a roll bar pushes the other wheel?

I know right. I want it but its dam expensive. Looks sweet and easy to install it goes where your rear seat belts bolt in.
