i prefer to slot the top hole in the leg (1mm is ample) rather than fit bolts that have been machined thinner than they were designed to be :o

K-Sport coilovers have an enlarged hole that allows you to set it to max of around -1 to -1.5 degrees. I'm with frank with going with the standard size bolts in the enlarged hole - while the camber bolts fit very snug in the bolt hole when installed (often to the point of being fucking annoying to remove when needed) they are a much smaller diameter in places.

With standard bolts in enlarged holes, if it comes loose it's likely to just allow the bolt to move around and the suspension would then become loose and strange - which should be quite obvious but not nearly as bad as losing the bolt entirely.

I haven't used camber bolts on any track days yet (as the car with them is off the road...) but I think they should be fine for the most part if you really want them but can't afford coilovers. Personally I'd look at the caster/traction kit from whiteline for dynamic camber before looking at static camber with bolts/holes.

As always frank, love your DIY'ing :)

Don't think many workshops would take a drill to your struts..

Uhh... theoretically could could have a single camber bolt but the only reason to have just one is if you lost the other. You install the camber bolts as a replacement for the top bolt on each side so you can independently (but equally) set the static camber. You need one on each side and there's no avoiding it.
