95 Lx to be Stripped for parts. |

I have a 95 lx white, that I will be stripping for parts.
The car has been in a front end accident. It has 101000 k's on the clock. If their are any parts that anybody may be interested in feel free to message me as I intend to get rid of things cheap. The engine is good. The headlights and tailights are also fine. I'll post up a list off things for sale as I do the strip but in the mean time if their is anything you might be looking for let me know. Thanks Craig |

Are the headlights glass or plastic??? and if they are glass how much do you want for the pair???does the car have after market springs in it??? mayb after a few other bits aswell.. just have to think what i need, and where are you located in OZ?? D |

thanks for that, it is a SLX, i am in melbourne (aust) the car is actualy in Wagga. the car is one we bought for my mother in law and she loves it and wants to keep it running but finding a new (secondhand/reconditioned)gearbox is proving very dificult. i might put a request into the forums under classifieds and general and see what happens. thanks simon |

DAMN YOU!!! I keep putting my key into the void between the steering shaft cover and the ignition barrel and it gets stuck so I spend another 5 mins trying to get it out while it looks like I'm stealing the car!!

Bosito, how much do you want for the plastic thing that surrounds the steering column? You know the bit that's in two halfs and they are just a facia/cover/cowling kind of thing behind the steering wheel? It has the hole for the key to go through etc..

mate I need the drivers side door mirror (just the mirror) you can pop it out of it's housing with a rag wrapped around a screwdriver.
Would also like the seatbelts if you still have em (just the front two, the whole mechanism + belt) and rear view mirror (attached to front windscreen) and do you have the plastic panel with the three climate control knobs in it? (the whole panel, inc knobs, etc) James |

Hi,
I was wondering if the car has the original micra jack and how much you would want for it. I live in the wollongong area and should be able to organise a way of getting it off you upon purchase depending on your location. Also will it work with a 97 micra lx or do i need a specific jack. Thanks |

Hey Bosito,
Do you have the actual flap/mechanism unit bit with the spring in it? The bit at the fuel flap which screws into the car with that plastic screw thing and it operates the release latch thing?? If still available, I'm keen. |

Hey Geoff and Cisco,
I have taken this photo after getting the things together. I don't think you are after the same thing but just to be sure. Geoff you want the interior lever for the fuel flap and hatch, the cable and the hatch latch. Cisco you want the latch set up that connects to the cable at the fuel flap. I have circled what Cisco wants and the rest is what your after Geoff. I hope this is clear. Sorry for the delay. Pm me if it is correct and I'll send some details. |

bosito PM sent re rear wiper arm if you still have it. Mine is nothing more than balck stubby bit on the back of the car after some (insert swear word here) snapped it off.

Is the crankshaft pulley for sale? I need one that drives two belts - one for alternator and one for water pump?
Also, I need the twin wiring socket (red) that is attached to the positive lead clamp to the battery. Please let me know what your price for these. |

Car needed a very good vacumm (lots of dirt and muck in under a lot of that trim that hasn't been opened I reckon almost since it was built.
Get this! I found 15cents and also a packet of light bulbs with one still in the packet! This stuff was like deep down in the hardest to find nooks and crannies and definately haven't been from me. Any wonder you get rattles sometimes and can't work out what they are! Far out haha. |

Ha cisco, I am doing the same, I tood off carpet, all chairs, almost instrument panel, trunk (4 door version), and I found nearly $5 of coins, freeway prepay tickets, candies, and a refuel receipt dated 1999, the price was 3/5 of actual gas price.

Mate these are the pics just taken. The gearbox has just been moved in the rain i,e that is just a little rain water you can see. So don't be alarmed. Get back to me if you want it but you'll need to arrange pick up.

I still have the engine it has 102000k's as far as reported by the previous owner it is in good condition. I want
$250 for the engine, $150 for the gearbox, $150 for original glass headlights $100 for original taillights $100 drivers side door good condition $50 alternator $50 startermotor $100 bonnet $hatch door $100 ecu and full loom still have plenty of other bits so make an offer. I have arranged for wrecker to come out to see the car when he gets a chance so if he offers the any where near what I want the car will be gone soon. |

Toll IPEC or PACK and SEND are two places I found that will post large things just to adhoc customers like us :)
Not cheap though. But Toll IPEC is pretty good value. Pack and Send charge more because they do everything for you, you just dump the goods in their foyer and sign a sheet of paper and walk away! |

The clutch, pressure plate, and thrust bearing, $30. I am about 30 mins from sth bank. I am happy to take the parts to work so there is a day time pick up point.

Gear box is 30kg's.
Engine with me balancing it is 65kg's. I would guess another 5kg for the clutsh bits. pm sent re pick up details. |

I had a look @ man freight places and they need you to put the engine and gearbox on a pallet.. can you do this for me and GTRHOLIC??? can you also get the dimensions and the weight??? so parts i need will be Front Glass headlights $150 like we discussed Gearbox and clutch $150 + $30 for clutch as discussed and i think GTRHOLIC still wants the engine.... so if you could get back to me with these details and your address i can get the ball romming as uni exams have finished Thanks D |
