WTB - Rear lights

Fri 04 Sep 2009 06:13:58 AM
So I've decided to replace my 1good and 1smashed tail lights and get something aftermarket. Im not too picky so if you have any to sell or know where i can get domestically instead of import monster let me know.

Thanks

side note, new springs are squeaky over gutters, normal?

Are you thinking of the LED type/bubble style type or something simular? If so ebay is your friend.. Never had any problems getting them from there. All you need is a Paypal account and within a few days from ordering the package should be at your doorstep.

http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1//1?icep_ff3=2&toolid=10001&campid=5337873294&icep_item=390088413977

so those are easy swap or is there different wiring to do? also is that a fair price including the shipping, which happens to be twice the price of the item itself...

Wiring change required but it's not hard, info has been posted here somwhere.

As for price, as a comparison, Nisswreck north of Adelaide has a set of those, and a set of all clear ones, $190 per set. All depends how bad you want 'em I guess.

Wiring is cake, just do a search for the jap bubble lights wiring and you'll find everything though I've been meaning to include the info on K11wiki...

Geez those nissan "specialist" wreckers really do charge an arm and a leg. It's most frustrating when they have something rare (like a lip kit) and crank up the price to the point where it'd almost be cheaper to import the whole thing from Japan.. ah well. Someone must be paying those kinds of prices to stay in business though.

Not bad if you get the winning bid at that price! :)

I get all my lights from TJM Trader on ebay.

All the DEPO crystal style headlights, LED/bubble style/etc rear lights. All will go "buy now" price from 125 - 130 USD..

He can also get the the Super March mirrors with LED blinkers!

Just drop him a message for a shipping qoute. Calculate whatever tax you will have to pay if the package, if you arent lucky and it dont make it through customs without having to pay any tax, and you have the end ammount you will have to pay to get the lights to your doorstep.

So conclusion is about 130USD + Shipping + tax = end ammount

I got my all white tailights from directcarparts.co.uk back in the day. But cant find them there anymore. Guess they are getting rare thesedays? Maybe from a dedicated March garage in Japan like Bcrews, Aspect, Mullholland, K-Factory, AP-Zest, Boom Enterprices or simular..

Boom Enterprises (clear taillights listed on their site): http://www.boom-enterprises.com/hb_sp/micra.htm
Aspect: http://aspectk11.web.fc2.com/k11original.html
Mullholland: http://www.mulholland-rp.com/
Bcrews: http://bcrews.hp.infoseek.co.jp/
K-Factory: http://www.k-factory.ne.jp/
AP-Zest: http://www.ap-zest.com/produce/march/

Well..thats a few..good hunting! ;)

well im now the current bidder on a nice set of jdm tail lights. Cant wait to get em, though shipping time is ages... Almost a month...

By that time my zorst will be done though and all i will need is a new rear bumper and window tint.

I noticed that hatch door and windows are cheap as on ebay, are they that cheap at a wreckers cause mine has a big dent in it...

This is the easyest way to get those bubble style rear lights. A little more than your budget maybe, but you get the sweet looking lights..

Anytime Pierce! Enjoy the wicked new lights on arrival. They are well worth it!!

Just remember that they have to be rewired before mounting them to the car. This is realy simple. You only need a small safetypin and screwdriver to shuffle the wires inside the plug. You can find info on this here on the forums..

Those Led ones are the ones I was after also, got 'koukai' ones as an intrim then decided not to waste cash.

They look good when darkened with the LEDS showing through... modern too
