My daughter has spent $3000 per year on it for the last few years, and is now giving up maintaining her beloved Micra.

It has bird dropping damaged paintwork, but it is available to test drive. A little goer and fuel efficient as you know.

It won't take much for a roadworthy certificate,because it has new tyres but will need a new windscreen.

wow! 3000 a year is quite a lot of money to spend on a micra..

i would agree with hotfunk and ask if theres some insane turbo or ITB set up running on after market computer in there...

id be upset spending that in mantiance on a micra... i dont spend that on my supra :S

Well it has new tyres, new brakes, Engine pulled out to put in new rubber mounts.

Sorry all but I am car illiterate.
No turbo, no power steering,
just general upkeep and Maintenance.

My daughter has given up and wants something new without upkeep.

If it doesn't sell we will probably keep it because we love Micra cars and know exactly where it has been and all the new parts it has got, and so cheap on petrol.
Will get son to post a photo with digital camera.

engine came out to put new engine mounts in? yeh? did you do that or did a shop charge you for that.. cause you don't have to pull the engine out to change engine mounts... that's ridiculous... if they are charging you stupid stuff like that then no wonder she's spending 3k a year to maintain it.
