Brown trouser time

Wed 31 Aug 2005 07:42:09 AM
It's like a monsoon outside at the moment here in Canberra, strong winds and rain.

I knew it was too good to be true when my wheelie bin was the only one standing on my street.

Had the fright of my life driving to work in my Micra, after dropping my daughter off at childcare I headed to work. A very strong wind hit the side of my Micra pushing me into the other side of the road in front of a Landcruiser coming the other day.

Talk about brown trouser time. Luckily he braked and I jumped back into my lane. *WHEW*

Looks like Hurricane Katrina Jr outside.

It's funny, it feels like my Micra handles better in the wet more than my Maxima, maybe it's size/weight thing?

Damn nasty stuff Ben. Glad you are ok mate. That's quite scary.

Yeah a real sudden change again today. Feels like mid-winter again. Must be snowing up on the hills somewhere!

Ben its because of the Micra's smaller tyres etc....

Tracks better in the wet than wider wheels

Thanks Cisco and eM.

Hmmm, maybe I should slap the Micra wheels on the Maxima!! *JOKES*

Cisco, saw the Blue Monster parked between two 4x4s this morning, he still looked menacing though.

Bet he was not long sandwiched between two 4x4s !!!
I would be very afraid specially if they were women drivers.
