Wich size is it, could someone help me? (Picture inside)

Mon 17 Nov 2008 03:28:12 PM
Hey Community!

Sorry, perhaps the most stupid question of the day... but: wich rim-size are these rims? 14" or 15"? I think it is the "Volk TE37"... I will go for these rims in 14x6,5 (+15 offset), but my local dealer isn't able to show me any pictures in these size, and it's risky to spend money on rims you don't know how the will look... please help me.

kind regards,
christian

they look like 15's imo.. you won't get that look with 6.5'' wide.. those would be atleast 8's with probably an offset close to 0, 6.5" wide with +15 won't have anywhere near as much angle as those spokes do.

@ campbell: Here in Germany you can order different types of the TE37's, each sort in different sizes, TE37 (13-20), TE37CUP (15-16), TE37 GRAVEL (13-15).

@turbo march-rolling shell: I know, it's a combination of offset and wide, do you have any pictures from the 14x6,5 +15?

Coming back on old stuff... i was bored and was surfing around the web, i found a report written by cisco, within, a picture of a micra k11 with THESE god damn rims, i gonna cry, damn so hot. So i remembered your words turbo march-rolling shell you have said about the dish. So i checked the size available for the micra (4x100) And there is nothing with an low offset AND wide size (7 7,5 8).

15x7,5 +43
15x7 +35 +43
15x6,5 +20 +28 +35 +39 +45
15x6 +35 +35
15x5,5 +35 +45
14x6.5 +15 +28
14x6.0 +38
14x5.5 +35 +45
14x5.0 +35 +35

So it can't be -!that!- widearch rim with low offset...

Any suggestions what it could be?

true as. maybe their custom rims then? you can get custom orders done through rays.... only size i can see in that list you have is possibly the 15x6.5 +20 the 14x6.5+15 would look pretty sexy too...

Ok, i am outta here... mission impossible what? Too bad.
Now i am going for plan b, i have found pictures of the advan rg2 with the sizes i am looking for, that might be easier. Someone got the weight for the rg2 in 15x7? Searched the yokohoma website but there wasn't an information...

My friend has RGII's on his evo7 but there in 18" when they arrived i picked one of them up and it was light as hell for a 18

So my guess is 15's are gonna be real light

Yes, i think so too, it is a forged rim, like the TE37, so it will be around the same wight.
