thats cool mate! how did you make it? i gather its a normal micra inlet manifold from just after the injectors and you've welded on some flat plate...

yeh, that about sums it up, had a plate welded on then made a 4 into 2 block
might go for quads one day, but for now its just to give the lpg a bit more throttle response and torque hopefully

you've got bigger injectors? you'll need them. Novel concept thou.... I'd only use one throttle wire with a threaded rod linkage to no.2. Oh, a pump bottle with engine degreaser will do wonders for engine bay cleaniness. My car is often a mess due to work in progress but I feel much better about myself and the car with a quick wash and engine bay spray (then I do the car too! :)......)

Re: twin t/b

cheers peeps

tried it on gas (no tps or maf fitted yet) but did,nt realise the tank was all but empty (i took the 45ltr tank out and put the 25ltr one back in last week, and the gauge is unfamiliar),so power was crap, but it had an awesome intake roar (burbled like a v8 or scooby)
so i got a ga16 t/b to cut the top 1/2 off and use the maf, but tried it on the stock manifold first, no noticable power gain on petrol (maybe more at very high revs) but a very noticable gain when on gas !! serendipity eh

Re: twin t/b

sorry guys, abandoned project ! (unless an msc member wants it)
i cant see me using it coz i,m pretty gobsmacked at the performance of the ga16 t/b when on gas.
i had to fit a restrictor to the k11 one so as to create enough vacuum to draw the gas out at the right a/f ratio but tried a different setup on the ga one (an oval orifice that gives airflow along the full length of the gas nozzle, a venturi effect rather than vacuum) and it gives "at least" as much power as when on petrol ??
so we might get a 16 second run on lpg (the scrutineers passed it last time !)

i,m afraid its been shelved, i had reached the limits of the 1.0 clutch on petrol, and now also on gas, so without the hassle and extra weight of fitting a 1.3 g/box,shafts,mounts etc my only option is to shed some more weight
ie ally alternator bracket, perspex rear 1/4,s soundeadener removal (airchiseled on a frosty morning), junk the sunroof for perspex and solar panel and goodbye petrol tank

Frank, I think I might just have found a kindred micra-driving spirit. Currently my car is stubbornly standard (bar some bigger brakes) but my long term aim is all about the oily bits and nothing to do with the looks. I like the "functional" ethos. I also like the idea of a battered old battlewagon that will still convincingly see off the average bodykitted Saxo. What have you got where the ECU used to sit?

And I take it that when you say that the reading on the lambda sensor is good, that gives confidence that it's not leaning out. When your blog's sorted, I'll have a long hard look at your setup. I'd like to go for a more capable nat-asp setup (starting with a better exhaust manifold) but didn't think the stock ECU would cope.

Forgive me if this is a daft question - in principle, if I up the airflow and the fuel flow in the same proportions (i.e. better breathing and bigger injectors) then the basic ECU might be able to deal with it?

when it was dyno,d with the 1.6 t/b and injector,s, they said that it was overfueling at low rpm and underfueling at high rpm, on wot.
so i,ve got stock injector,s and a 5th audi injector in the t/b, triggered by a button on the gear knob atm
