cruise in the southern brisbane/gold coast area

Fri 25 Jan 2008 06:01:55 PM
anyone interested in a cruise? Sometime in the next 3months (time for Yom to get a micra and turbo-rolling and I to have our turbo cars on the road).... any thoughts? to soon/late radek? Come on guys and gals come out of the woodwork. I'd like to go with Yoms thoughts and meet up at a winery or something for dinner and drag the partners along....

I went back to an earlier swift ('93) not one of the new crappy ones.
I liked driving the gti more. They had a better suspension layout from the factory (independant alround instead of beam rear end), factory recaroes (spelling?), better brakes & a better head design.

However, I will say that the gti isn't built to the same standards as the micra. The micra feels more solid in its construction & doesn't have as much road noise as the gti (however the devcon I just bought will solve that problem).

I will miss the micra, as it was a fun car to drive & very realiable. But it was never as much fun as the gti I had before the micra.
