cheers guys, still a bit unclear tho. also, what about the facia around the unit. because i konw you can get two different standard sized radios around the world. 9not including those really big DVD ones) is the radio that is originally in the micra a small size or a big one?? will have 2 get a new facia 4 my pioneer coz measuring it out it doesnt lok like it will fit??
cheers

Mate you need a European Antenna Adaptor. You can either buy Aerpro or DNA. Normally around $10-$20. Part number is AP348

it shows how crap the standard nissan stereos are litterally every K11 micra i drive at work has got an aftermarket cd player/stereo fitted!

My micras standard stereo didn't play tapes after a few years of owning it so i threw out the old stereo and fitted a 200W JVC cd player instead which cost me £100/$216. The cd player should have really cost £200/$433 but some idiot at halfords put it under the wrong price on the shelf so i got it half price and fitted for free!

Admittedly the standard speakers in the micra are pretty good!
