Chech this out, the turbonator

I was looking up stuff about turbos, and i came across this site. i wonder if people buy these. Because i don't think they would do a lot. Or would they?

Ive since found that electric motors are capabable of supplying the amount of air you need to pressurise an intake manifold.

But its a bit more complex than a simple DC fan in the intake... ANd alot more expensive.

yes, tried that years ago with a cortina heater blower on 24 v, it would inflate a black binbag in about 1/2 a second !
i swear it made a difference ! but it filled the engine bay and charging 2 bike batteries was a drag, so the novelty wore off.

over the past 4 years the topic of the turbonator has arisen about 5 or 6 times i reckon.

has anyone seen the video of those crazy yanks that put a civic on a dyno and hooked up a petrol leaf blower to the intake? :p i had it in an email a while back ill try and find it

Be a real man and do forced induction correctly with a centrifugal supercharger.. haha..
