took me 8 hours to

take out engine and gearbox, driveshafts, wiring
change over gearbox and flywheel/clutch to new engine
put new engine in car
take off head of new engine
take off head of old engine
put new head on old engine (about 50% through doing it, just need head bolt torque settings as i done have an angle degree thing)

Are you using new head bolts? I think they need to be new ones as they stretch.
