Are Micras a good perfromance car.

Can you get exhausts and clear lights all round, in australia for micras. Do they have good performance.

Yes you can get exhausts. Custom lights can ordered from o/s . clear side lights were sold through the club for some time. Maybe still available,, Cisco???.

Depends by how you rate "good performance". With tuning they can be made to go quite well for a 1.3l engine. I've driven mine up and back to Canberra (from Victoria) in a day. Cruising at 130k's for hours on end with no strain.

With some suspension mods they handle very well.

define good performance? Micras are surprising... Love to rev, light, nimble and reliable... throw a light flywheel and a turbo kit, put some sport coils and dampers on, some larger front brakes and they are a ball of fun. Drivers of much larger cars are surprised then frustrated by the little micra's abilities.

yeah they are good. but if you are going to spend over ten thousand dollars do it on a different car. you'll get a lot faster car and be able to do that bit more a bit easier.
but you can do it on the micra to just dont expect mind blowing power. just research well where you spend your money. make sure its done right first go.

yeah you can make them fun to drive. but as in power and adrenalin pumping performance then no. unless your willing to spend very very big dollars.

nah not really. think about spend 20k on a micra you'll get 150kwatw spend 20K on a skyline or 200sx or rx7 whatever and youll be around 350kwatw.

that's right... going 60 around a round about is fun...
and it feels alot faster :)
