More power.....

Thu 05 Oct 2006 02:23:16 PM
Hello, i'm going to get a Rockford fosgate amp and a new 2000 watt sub, but i need more power, i have inserted a extra battery, but my Alternator (is this the right word?) is only 65A. i know i can get one that is 70A that fits, but i think i need more, about 90-100A Alternator... is there any aternator that fits go get me more power for my amps ?

the best thing for this is to upgrade to the 70 amp alternator and run a capacitor for the amp..
they in theory are like a battery. they are designed for this where they need alot of power in quick bursts.
i would suggest a 2 farad capacitor... that should be suff
icent

I have 3 Rockford fosgate 1 Farad capacitors. but i have 1 computer, 1 12 V actuator (to lift my amps out of secret rooms). but i can upgrade to the 70 amp alternator for only 90 dollars fro a used one.

so you think this will be enough ?
