Howto: Write a howto. |
Fri 08 Sep 2006 03:55:19 PM |
Start with a bold title.
Step 1. Easily done with a < b > without spaces to start the bold text then a < /b > without spaces to end the bold section. That way it looks alot neater and professional. Step 2. Check for spelling errors and grammar. Step 3. Itallics can warn or make important points. use < i > without spaces to start and < /i > to end it. Step 4. Include little details. Some people dont know what a "diff" is, and if you are going to use heavy technical terms, make a little note at the start! Step 5. Expect someone to make a comment on the howto, as an open forum is better than a closed horrible place where ideas are locked in cement. Be responsible and update your howto if theres a comment made on it. Step 6. Get Cisco to make a howto forums section!!! I know ill be making some more once i have things to do to the car. Anyway, i hope you've found this helpful and if we all spend 5-10mins writing 1 howto on whatever from cleaning the car to changing the oil to upgrading the suspension, we'll have over 1000 useful articles. Happy Micra'ing! |
