Throttle Body

Mon 04 Sep 2006 09:24:37 PM
Hey chaps, I am new user i have a problem with my micra 1.3 S, 2000 model (face lift model)the usual misfiring symptoms, I have replaced the plugs and the coils...slightly better but it still misfires at higher revs or when i have passengers in the car...basically when the engine is working harder. I have seen Alex B's threads about how to sort the trottle body problem..resoldering etc...however when i took mine apart and i took the air box off the throttle body is totally different to the one pictured, i can't see where the plate is that you are supposed to pry off to reveal the circuit board. I am a competent solderer but not much of a mechanic....my throttle body is a Bosch one, i have a picture from the net of it, ( i forgot to take 1 be4 putting the car back 2gether)...sorry for the essay guys......any help and advise would be gratefully appreciated....

Apologies for pinging in a super vintage thread. Did you ever nail down how or if the rresoldering applies to this type of k11 throttle body?
