GAUGE NEEDLE REMOVAL ?

Hi - am having a meltdown - if i want to swap the speedo gauge face how the #@!% do i get the speedo needle off - are they pressed on ? - does the speedo spindle have a key way (slot) to ensure it goes back in the same place ? - all help greatly appreciated as i want to get it right first time - cheers malcolm :)

yep..... same problem....

can anybody help me??
i dont know if it will ruin the calibration of the needle. its also pretty hard to pull off.... so im not sure if itl rip it all appart...

sorry to bring up an old thread.. but better than starting up a new one...
