That is just awesome.

Basically, some bolt on bits to turn any of our micras into AWD. Be very cool!!

LOVE to import one of those AWD marches, like this one!:

I thought these things had the fancy pants part time electronic system with 2 electric motors mounted in the rear axle.

Thats from one of the pictures someone posted up anyway. THat may have been K12 or a Z10/11 though.

Well, with auction prices starting at approx. A$35 (3000 yen) here http://www.japaneseusedcars.com/auction/auctions.htm

if you find an all wheel drive K11 it may be worth the effort. If the drive train can stand the power increase!

Or better still have another CG13DE installed in the back.
If I ever win Tats lotto my project would be a twin engined supercharged Micra. Now that would fly.

wouldnt be able to convert with bolt on bits. the awd k11 has different chassis, with a raised rear floor to take the extra parts.

Converting a 2wd micra to 4wd micra, would be a similar process to converting a swift to a cultus 4wd (like itsmad). If you had all the rear floor plan, mounts, suspension, drivetrain (i.e try & get a smashed 4wd imported) & had the gear & free time it could be done. Everyone said itsmad could not be done & not look like a cut & shut job, but it looks damn near factory perfect. If you want an idea of how hard it would be, jump on redlinegti.com & look for garndi (I think thats the spelling), he is documenting his 4wd convertion, very interesting read.
