Stealth boost control install..bahahaha

Thu 13 Apr 2006 09:12:16 PM
You'll never guessed where I've installed my Turbosmart dualstage boost controller..

In the lefthand side fuse box!

Absolute perfect fit..Its great, in the box, sealed away from the elements.

I just cut out a the few little plastic slats there (For other fuses the car didn't have..and slotted the adjustment box in.

The red vacuum hose you see in the pics has been covered with black electrical tape to cover it all up.

Also there was a factory ground there for me to use just waiting! Wooo..

Anyway the pics are pretty self-explanitory.

Factory fuse box

Hidden treasures..

Covered up t-piece

Vacuum route, protected and cable tied where it passes over the metal

Re-using a ground..

Shaved the insides out of the fuse box

Woot! That's the shit I'm talkin' about!

Excellent excellent creative idea mate. Well done.

Now if you don't mind, can I copy and relocate mine tomorrow???

My boost controller is the same as yours, except, err I paid extra for the plain black stealth series - doh!!!

hahah no i wont mind if you do the same..so easy to do and such a snug fit too.

Also in the last pic there you can see straight through the fusebox, i should mention there is a bottom cover as well that gets put back on and everything is peachy..Definately no crap getting into that box.
