WANTED : Bubble tail lights....crystal headlights

Tue 17 Jan 2006 12:42:08 PM
What are the crystal headlights?? I've heard about them but have really seen any. This thread is more "information wanted" than "item wanted". But the item would be nice too. Any place selling these things are a reasonable price?

Thanks all.

The headlights are designed for left hand drive cars. As good as they look, after purchasing them myself I'm having trouble recommending them because they just arent properly suited to road use.

THe light beam is good but its just all pointing the wrong way!

I've adjusted my crystals so they point directly infront of the car. They don't give anyone glare and they're quite bareable and fine for where I drive these days.

If i did any sort of night highway driving I'd be putting my originals back in.

I think I will stay with my stock lights then. The New Zealand Country Roads are quite lethal at night. Thanks for the info.

Good idea.

You can add aftermarket driving lights which come on with high beam if you want.

All the wiring for the Super S factory driving lights is in place in the engine bay, its all taped up underneath the headlights in the loom there. All you need to do is chop the connector off and extend the wires to your aftermarket driving lights. Might have to add a fuse or relay but thats not a big deal.

That is if you're not happy with your standard lights though...
