a question for evade really, just wanted to know how well the emanage coped with tuning his turbo conversion and if he had any problems. i cant afford standalone ecu and can get a emanage cheap. were you able to advance ignition off boost and retard as boost kicked in etc. thanks

hey man,

the timing control was a bit iffy when used with the micra..

for my setup it kinda 'just managed' and put out 72kw @ 5psi. i had a custom airflow meter pipe made (using a standard airflow meter out of a stock throttle body placed into a sorta slight bend pipe to go on the inlet side of the turbo..)

i still have this part lying around as I use a MAP sensor now..but if anything I would wait and go for the full ecu straight away. has much more potential and my car runs a LOT smoother on full ecu.

I do have that custom airflow meter (its plug and play..has the micra plug and all..just need to extend the airflow meter cable as it typically would need to reach the front of the engine bay where the turbo is..) and am willing to sell it if you want to give that a shot.
