WANTED: micra front seat belts

Fri 06 Jan 2006 01:40:08 AM
Hi guys,

Does anyone have a spare set of front belts off a wrecked micra or anything? Including the clip/button parts.

OR.. Does anyone else have the problem of the seat belts not always clicking in properly. They feel like they are plugged in, but they can sometimes pop out unexpectedly, unless you clicked them in really hard and gave them a good wiggle etc. Can this be adjusted/fixed, or is the latch/clip thing just worn out?

Thanks
fred

Yes mine do the same thing on both cars. Not a loud click and sometimes not sure if it is engaged or not.
Maybe a Micra thing??
Anyone else??

Mine click in ok but I am forever untangling the belt where it goes through the guide on the door pillar. It always seems to get folded over thereby causing it to get jammed. Thats my whinge for the day.

cisco, i wouldnt get a safety item like seat belts from the wrecker. you got to remember why the car is in the wrecker in the first place. seatbelts should be replaced after every accident.
