Stock wheel weight |

Hi does any one know what the stock micra wheels weigh ? And I will like to know some lighter alternative wheels that fit our cars? Thanks

13,s are 5.5kg, and facelift 14,s are 7 eddie

Also consider your tyre choice, as some tyres are much heavier than others...

If I get Wheels 3.5 kg or so with light tyres does it make a good difference?

Also the distance of the weight from the hub makes a big difference, so a wheel/tyre combination with the same overall weight will be harder to turn if made up of light wheel and heavy tyre, rather than the other way around. Personally I think the grip benefits of a wider, and consequently heaver tyre outweigh the performace losses. |
